He lives! - April 22, 2018

Scene 1:

Dark, lonely street--somewhere in Caringbah, Australia.  

*Elder Smith and Elder Nelson are walking casually, discussing matters of deep spiritual importance*

Elder Nelson: "Is that a crazy, homeless man walking towards us?"

Elder Smith: "It appears so. Fortunately, I'm not afraid of crazy, homeless men even though it's late at night and we're the only ones on the street."

*Elder Nelson looks at Elder Smith quizzically*

*Crazy, homeless man approaches*

Crazy, Homeless Man: "Hey....I'm so sorry......I'm so sorry"

*Crazy, homeless man slowly reaches into the pocket of his oversized coat*

*Elder Smith (who still shows no fear) steps forward to start a conversation*

*Elder Nelson (who has a slight sense of foreboding) grabs Elder Smith's arm*

*Elder Smith immediately gets the chills and realises that we might be in danger*

(The tension is pretty palpable right now)

*Crazy man's phone goes off*

*Crazy man stares at his phone (2 inches from his face) while Elder Smith and Elder Nelson make their exit*

Elder Smith: "Did we almost just get stabbed?"

Elder Nelson: "..."

END OF SCENE 1

...So other than that, this week was pretty standard. We are working towards Katrina's baptism on the 11 of May (cross your fingers/pray). 

Personally, this week has been crazy for learning about and developing a testimony of priesthood power. I've really learned A LOT about having blessings sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise.

It's fun to hear about everything going on back home!
